Ryken Leaving Tenth for Wheaton

HT: Nick Batzig

While it is sad to see such a faithful pastor leave such an influential church, it is very encouraging to see Wheaton College go in a Reformed direction. Pray for Tenth Pres. as they seek to find another pastor. Along with Phillip Graham Ryken, the church has been pastored by such men as Donald Grey Barnhouse and James Montgomery Boice (they will need to find someone whose "full" name sounds nice to continue the streak).

Read the story at Christianity Today (*the comments are even more interesting*)

I know one that would work, "Paul David Tripp."

I'm sad about that; however, I met Ryken a few years ago and I have to say as conversationalist, it was kind of awkward. Not as chatty as you might think.

He may be better suited for the classroom.

He is a great theologian.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Tripp seems, at least to me, to be the obvious choice.
