I thank God for a Godly wife. With Mother's Day approaching I am reminded of how God is developing my sweetheart in His hands. When you look at the televison or go through the check out line at the grocery store, you see anything but women who are after the heart of God, but I praise the Lord that He has custom made me a help meet who, instead of being shaped and molded by the world, she is being conformed to the image of Christ. No, she's not perfect, but she's pretty close as far as I am concerned. The Lord gets all the glory for there was a time she didn't have a desire to be a preacher's wife but now she has a desire for Him and God is using her. She is a keeper at home, a mother who wants to raise her two boys in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Her life is given out every day in sacrificial service to Camdyn and Cayde (and Josh) to the glory of God. She loves the truth of God and likes to join me in theological conversation and thought; imagine that! (at least she acts like it). She ministers to people on a daily basis through cards, phone calls, and email. She has been up this morning for about an hour with our boys, not complaining, but loving them. It is a blessing to see God's hand on my wife and I bless His name for what He is doing. He gets the glory, it is all of grace. I'm going to go tell her I that I love her before I head out this morning!
