Our church prints a little booklet entitled A Guide for Prayer. In the booklet prayer is divided into four sections. You have heard of the old ACTS formula: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication. It is basically the same pattern but I think this expression is better in that it gives reason for each aspect of prayer.
- Awed by His Beauty................Praising
- Humbled by His Holiness........Confessing
- Amazed by His Grace............. Giving Thanks
- Desiring His Glory................... Asking
