The Prodigal God

While visiting North Carolina this weekend I picked up a copy of Tim Keller's The Prodigal God. Keller is the pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian in NYC and a wonderful gift of Jesus Christ to His church. I can say nothing higher of Keller than what Billy Graham said: "I thank God for him." This was a great book to begin the new year. It is sure to be one that I return to again and again. The book is very simple: in it Tim Keller gives us the Gospel from Luke 15 in Jesus' parable of the prodigal son. Nothing new, but a great reminder of the depth of our sin and the compassion of our Savior.

Buy it from Monergism Books

I'm glad to see that my hubby is blogging again! I've missed reading.

Its funny you're reading something about the prodigal son. I just started reading tonight John MacArthur's book A Tale of Two Sons. Oh and by the way, GO SOONERS!!!
