Long time away from the keyboard....

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity and the fun won't stop for at least another two weeks.

Camdyn and I took a trip to Florida for my uncle's funeral. Thank you all for your prayers and support and please continue to pray for the Baumwald family. We returned to North Carolina where our church gave us a going away cookout. Sunday we finished our time at Calvary Baptist and of course it was very emotional. We love this church family and they have loved us over the last three years. We will greatly miss all of them. We thank the Lord for letting us be a part of this church and how He has used them as a blessing to our family. My wife has posted some pictures at her blog.

Now our focus has turned 6 hours south. All of our attention is on getting our belongings packed because our move is just over a week away. We have much to do and little time to do it.

I do have much that I would like to post and I apologize to my faithful readers (all 3 of you) for the light blogging as of late. We will just have to wait and see what time permits.

The Lord is overwhelming us at the present time. His sovereign grace is manifest in our lives and we see it in the lives of those who are closest to us. I have joy that I cannot express in seeing God prove His faithfulness, even when we are not faithful. I find it hard to believe that we are actually making this move. Since we have said that we will go we have honestly been sitting back and watching God work to make this a reality. I know difficult days will come but we are enjoying this time. Of course, because of our frailty we have our worries and concerns but our hope is not in ourselves, it is in the God who is working all things together for our good. What began as an impossible dream God is making a reality. God has called us and He will supply us.

Soli Deo Gloria!

In the meantime, enjoy this clip. This is not typical of this blog but I came across it at Between Two Worlds and enjoyed it. I know this type of humor isn't for everyone, but I hope you enjoy it anyway. BEWARE THE ME MONSTER!
