Knowing What You Believe and Why You Believe It

The White Horse Inn is a nationally syndicated radio broadcast that airs once a week with a round table discussion of Christian doctrine. The usual group of four pastors and seminary instructors discuss what we believe as Christians and why we believe it. This year their theme has been A Time for Truth, and they have been discussing the five solas of the Reformation.
Frankly, I could not point anyone to a better resource to help them be grounded in their Christian faith. Many times on the broadcast parking lot interviews are aired from Christian conferences asking questions like "How important is justification by faith alone to your ministry?" and "Can you list all ten commandments?" Most of the time, the basic questions stump those who are asked. The broadcast isn't designed to ridicule those who don't know basic doctrine, but I believe it does shed light on how many Christians are ignorant to orthodox doctrine and how we all need to know what we believe and why we believe it. Mp3 downloads of the broadcasts are available free from their website and they are well worth the listen.
Way to go White Horse, and keep it up. God is using your work!
